GRANT, GARY PHILLIP Gary P. Grant of Nortondale, NB passed away following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer on February 6, 2008 at Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Gary was born at St. Stephen, NB in 1946, a son of the late Thomas and Gwelda (Lewis) Grant. He was employed as an off-set pressman at UNB and later as a manager with Singer Sewing Company. Gary was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Millville Branch 59. He is survived by his wife, Diane E. Grant; a son, Michael Grant, Moncton NB; two step-daughters, Theresa Mitchell (Mathew), Farnhamville, Iowa and Tami Loucks (Lester), Cherokee, Iowa; seven grandchildren, LaToshia, Cassidy, Scott, Justin, Brian, Mariah and Chelsea; two sisters, Charlene Paul, Fredericton and Bonnie Fortin (Ron), Cochrane, Alberta; a brother, Richard Grant (Sharon), Douglas, NB; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Blinn officiating. A reception will follow at the Millville Royal Canadian Legion. Interment will be later in Nortondale Cemetery.
