TOWNSEND, DIANA ELIZABETH Suddenly at her residence in Ottawa, January 29, 2008 at age 81. Cherished wife of 57 years, of Dennis Townsend of Ottawa. Loving mother of Anthony and his wife Karen, of Toronto, and Geoffrey and his wife Christine, of Toronto. Proud "Nana" of Stuart, Andy, Adrienne and Natalie. Diana will be sadly missed by nephew, David Cochrane and his wife, Gail of Orleans, Ontario; niece, Wendy Allen and her husband Bruce, of St. Albert, Alberta and nephew, Donald Cochrane and his wife Ana, of Fredericton, N.B; as well as, great-nieces Meagan and husband, Mike Cochrane and Courtney Cochrane of Ottawa. Great Aunt to Jeffrey Allen and wife Monica, of Iqaluit; Christopher Allen of Edmonton, and Ethan; Elena and Maia of Fredericton. Great-great Aunt to Aurora of Iqaluit, and Alexander of Ottawa. Educated at Mount Allison University and the University of New Brunswick Law School Admitted to the Bar of New Brunswick. For many years, Professor of Law at Algonquin College, Ottawa.
