MARKS, JAMES LABARON (1941- 2008) The death of James Marks of Lincoln, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2008. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of the late James S. and Jean (Hayward) Marks of Fredericton NB. He was employed at U.N.B. for approximately twenty-six years. He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to Blue Grass music. He also was an avid hockey fan (New York Rangers). Survived by his wife, Joan; one son, Jamie Marks (Anne) of Beaverdam; one daughter, Stacey Marks-Davidson (Michael) of Rusagonis; six grandchildren, Andrée-Anne, Victoria and Julian Marks. Colby, Brody and Riley Davidson; two step-brothers, Everett and Rev. Philip Mills; two uncles, John and Ralph Hayward and several cousins. Predeceased by his parents, and stepfather, Basil R. Mills. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
