DEBORAH GALE HOOD
HOOD, DEBORAH GALE Deborah G. Hood of Magaguadavic passed away unexpectedly as the result of a car accident at Longs Creek, NB. Debbie was born at Harvey Station in 1959, a daughter of Marie Z. (Stairs) Williams and the late Travis Williams. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Harvey where she served as a board member and ministry search committee member. She was an avid softball player, bowled with the Harvey Ladies League and was a dedicated Hockey Mom. Debbie is survived by her husband, Robin W. Hood; two sons, Ryan and Aaron both at home; her mother, Marie Z. Williams, York Manor; a sister, Brenda Lawson (Roger), Newmarket, NB; a brother Dale Williams, Fredericton; her mother-in-law, Roxie Hood, Magaguadavic; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Hood and Darlene Hatch (Rod), both of Magaguadavic; two brothers-in-law, George Hood (Monica), Prince William and Brent Hood, Magaguadavic; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey Station on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment will be later at Pine Grove Cemetery, Magaguadavic. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Debbie, the family has suggested the York Manor Bus Fund, Knox Presbyterian Church Parking Lot Fund or the Pine Grove Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her co-workers of Service New Brunswick, Mapping and Land Registry.
