MACELMON, FRANCES HELEN The passing of Frances H. MacElmon of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Monday, February 25th, 2008. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Henry) Meating and wife of the late J.F. "Ted" MacElmon. Frances was a retired civil servant, and a member of the Church of England. She is survived by her sister, Lois Loney of Atikokan, Ont., chosen daughter, Janet Scott of Paradise, Nfld., nephews, Frank Scott (Jacqueline) of Island View and Richard Scott (Kim Eaton) of Ottawa, Ont., nieces, Mary Lynn Clement (Wray) of Atikokan, Ont., Dr. Pam Jarrett (Don Slater), and Nancy Marsh (Danny) of Saint John, NB, nephews, Russell Loney of Toronto, Ont., Jim Meating of Moncton, NB and Doug Meating of Fredericton, four grandchildren, sister-in-law Laureen Jarrett (Tom) of Saint John. Predeceased by sister Jean and brother Thomas. Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 at 3:30 pm from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel 540 Woodstock Rd. with the Venerable John Sharpe officiating. Interment at a later date in Sunny Bank Cemetery.
