HENRY, AVIS THELMA (COLLIER) The passing of Avis Thelma (Collier) Henry, wife of the late Lloyd G. Henry, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on February 27th, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 29th, 1925 in Fosterville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Hazen and Hazel (McNerlin) Collier. Avis retired as owner of the Buy & Sell Catalogue. She was a member of Maryville United Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Judith Stuart (John) of Miramichi; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Spinney and Elva Thompkins both of Fredericton; two brothers, Thomas (Gladys) and Samuel (Deloris) Collier all of Fosterville; sister-in-law, Leona Collier and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Suzanne; one brother, Lester and brother-in-law, Ashley Thompkins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, February 29, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Marysville United Baptist Church on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor David DuBois officiating and Rev. Laurie D. Fenerty assisting. Interment will take place at Marysville United Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
