HOBEN, SADIE MAE The passing of Sadie M. Hoben in her 91st year, of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Friday, February 29th, 2008. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen "Mamie" (Briggs) McFawn and wife of the late Lloyd Hoben. Sadie was a homemaker and a member of the Skyline Acres Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Bill Hoben (Nerene), "Pete" Claude Hoben, Joan Belyea, Marcia Moore (Edison) all of Fredericton, Georgie Hoben (Judy) of Hamilton, ONT., Randy Hoben (Cathie), and Caroline Cusack all of Fredericton; two brothers Charlie McFawn of Toronto, ONT., and Fred McFawn (Olive) of Hamilton, ONT.; 36 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 sons Kenny, Richard and Danny Hoben; sisters Pauline Cail and Dorothy Lyons; brothers Lloyd, William, Douglas, Royden, and Lewis McFawn. Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service on Tuesday March 4, 2008 at 2:00 pm from the Skyline Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Karl Caeszar officiating. Interment at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery.
