GALLAGHER, MARY IRIS GEORGINA The passing of Mary Iris Georgina "Jean" Gallagher, wife of the late Charles Gilbert Gallagher, of Zionville, NB, occurred on March 4, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 2, 1924, in Blissfield, Northumberland County, NB, she was a daughter of the late Cornelius and Eugenia (McLeod) Kervin. Jean is survived by one daughter, Constance Legere (Richard) of Lincoln, NB; one son, Robert Gallagher (Irene) of Geary, NB; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Priscilla Veno (Ralph) of Weaver Siding, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, Gary Gallagher and 13 brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place in Zionville Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
