VALERIE JOY MARR

MARR, VALERIE JOY Valerie J. Marr of Springfield, York County, passed away March 4, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Valerie was born at Rossville, NB., in 1956, a daughter of Stella G. E. (Inkpen) Ingraham and the late Milton Ingraham. She was a valued employee of Kings Landing Historical Settlement for the past 29 years and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lr. Southampton Branch, Royal Canadian Legion. She is survived by a son, Christopher Marr, Springfield; her mother of Springfield; a brother, Derek Ingraham (Lisa), Woodstock; a nephew, George Ingraham; a special sister-in-law, Laurie Anne Marr, Millville; Christopher's father, Beverly Marr, Millville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Valerie was predeceased by her father in 1993. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. George Clark and Rev. Watson Williams officiating. Interment will be later at Upper Caverhill Cemetery. A Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary tribute service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Timmy Ingraham, Reggie Ingraham, Royce Hoyt, Hollis Clark, Richard VanOord and Joas VanOord.
