DESMOND, PHYLLIS IRENE The death of Phyllis Desmond occurred on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Oromocto Public Hospital (William Duffie Unit). Phyllis was a loving wife to her husband, Robert, and daughter of the late Laurie and Mary (Stevens) States of Kentville, NS. She is also predeceased by her brothers-in-law, Ken Johnson and Ron Hall. Along with her husband, Phyllis is survived by her three sons, Chris Desmond of Montreal, PQ, David Desmond of Halifax, NS, and Timothy Desmond of Vancouver, BC; her brothers, Lawrence (Beulah) States and Douglas (Debbie) States; sisters, Bertha Johnson, Doris Gibson, Joyce Hall, Annie Clements, Helen States and Shirley Bromley; brother-in-law, Richard (Juanita) Desmond as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, March 10th, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Rusagonis Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 at 2:00 pm.
