KERSTENS, SUSAN "MARY" WATSON The passing of Susan "Mary" Watson Kerstens, wife of John Kerstens, of Doaktown, N.B, occurred on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at her son's home. Born on December 4, 1923 in Doaktown, N.B, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Amy (Price) Beek. Mary was a member of Our Lady Of Annunciation in Doaktown, N.B and also the Doaktown Legion Branch #23 Ladies Auxiliary. Mary also enjoyed gardening. Mary is survived by four sons, Weaver Watson (Maxine) of Fredericton, Gordon Watson (Susan) of Holtville, NB, Vemrose Watson (Linda) and John Watson (Cheryl), both of Hazelton, NB; five daughters, Bonnie Christie (Irvin) and Leila Webster, both of Hazelton, NB, Carrie Mckay (Joe) of Garnett Settlement, NB, Brenda Munn (Eugene) and Bertie Watson (Herbie), both of Doaktown, NB; one brother, Gordon Beek (Dorene) of Hazelton, NB; two sisters, Christine Edna Pratt of Storeytown, NB, Josephine Lyons of Doaktown, NB; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her first husband, John Watson; an infant son, Frederick; an infant daughter, Bonny Lou; one sister, Betty Comeau; one son-in-law, Scott Webster; two grandsons, Frederick Alexander Watson, Weaver Dean Watson; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Mary. Visitation will take place at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm, Monday, March 10, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Our Lady of Annunciation Church, Doaktown, NB on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 11 am with Father Bonaventure Annan officiating. Interment will take place in the Doaktown Pentecostal Cemetery at a late date. Donations may be made to Our Lady Of Annunciation or to the charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
