FOSTER, MAXINE DORIS Maxine D. (Wood) Foster of Green Mountain, York Co., NB passed away March 11, 2008 at her home. Born at Fosterville in 1935, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Mary E. (O'Hearn) Wood. Maxine was a devoted, loving and caring mother and grandmother. She adored her pets. For the past few years she has enjoyed traveling with her family. She was a member of the Green Mountain Baptist Church. Maxine is survived by a daughter, Juanita Williams (Gerald), Woodstock; a son, Leonard Foster (Peggy), Woodstock; grandchildren, Christopher Foster (Lisa), Matthew Foster, Dustin, Joshua and Jenna Williams, all of Woodstock; a great granddaughter, Hope Maxine Marie Foster; four sisters, her twin, Geraldine Grant (Ralph), Bernice Grant (Russell), both of Canterbury, Leona Collier, Hodgdon, Maine and Barbara Capenter (Robert), Houlton, Maine; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband J. Gordon Foster on September 18, 1993, a sister, Effie Wood, two brothers, Earl and Hollis Wood and an infant brother and a brother-in-law, Lester Collier As per Maxine's request both visitation and funeral service will be private for family and her close personal friends. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Fosterville Baptist Church on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eldon Colwell officiating. Interment will be later at the Fosterville Upper Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Maxine's grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Foster and Dustin, Joshua and Jenna Williams.
