ALLAN LLOYD PARKER
PARKER, ALLAN LLOYD Mr. Allan Lloyd Parker, Carroll's Crossing, NB, husband of Joyce (Lyons) Parker passed away on March 13, 2008 with his family by his side. Born in May 16, 1929 in Carroll's Crossing, he was the son of Norman and Susie (Storey) Parker. He was affiliated with the Carroll's Crossing Baptist Church. He was a member of the Canadian Percheron Association, the NB Percheron Association and the NB Draft Horse Association. Allan was a retired lumberman. He enjoyed the outdoors especially his hunting trips with nephews Peter and Iven, his dog Magen, his horses and especially his time spent at the Napan Horse Show. In addition to his wife Joyce, Allan is survived by two daughters Sherry (Eldon) Clowater, Doaktown, Cathy (David) Colford, New Bandon, one son, Stephen (Loey Sturgeon) Parker, eight grandchildren Troy, Terry (Lynn), Tim Clowater, Darren (Jenny) Colford, Lyn (Derek) Munn, Sarah (Nick) Russell, Bradley and Emily Parker and four great-grandchildren, Cole and Clay Clowater, Lia Munn and Caleb Colford, one sister Jean O'Donnell, one uncle Charlie Storey and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters Helen Price, Vera Clowater, Paula Bastable, two brothers, Sherman and Scott Parker. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral services will be held at the Carroll's Crossing Baptist Church at 2pm on Saturday, March 15, 2008, with Pastor Wilbur Matthews officiating. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Troy and Terry Clowater, Darren Colford, Bradley Parker, Lyn Munn, Emily Parker and Sarah Russell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Iven Parker, Peter Parker, Calvin O'Donnell, Norman Clowater, Hartford Price and Blaine Dickison. Interment will be at Carroll's Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the Carroll's Church, the Draft Horse Association or the donor's choice.
