Murray McLeod of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, December 20th, 2008 at the age of 82 years. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 8th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Shepherd officiating. Burial of cremations will take place at Argyle Cemetery, Shoal Lake, Manitoba at a later date. Murray was predeceased by his parents Reg and Jennie; sister Beatrice; brother Leonard; brother-in-law Howard Lavineway; and sister-in-law Gladys. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Maud Lavineway; brother Robert and many nieces and nephews. Murray was born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba and received his education at Culross School. He lived with his parents and worked on the family farm in the Shoal Lake District, until 1964 when the family moved to Brandon. In 1990 Murray moved in with his sister Maud and in 1997 he and Maud moved to Moose Jaw, where he resided until his passing. Murray was a gentle soul and will be sorely missed by all.
