ENMAN, HAZEL MAYME Hazel M. Enman (Collier) of McAdam passed away peacefully at her home on March 14, 2008 with family members by her side. Born on Collier Mountain, Albert County, NB on March 8, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Fletcher and Sarah (Allen) Collier and the wife of her loving late husband, Burns Enman who passed away in 1991. Her life was devoted to hard work and caring for her family. She was a marvelous cook and enjoyed shopping, her church family and traveling the back roads of the area. In later life she delighted in her collection of stuffed animals, gifts from family and friends. Hazel is survived by her loving family: sons, Grant of Barrie, ON, Roger (Flossie) of Fredericton, NB and Bernie (Carolyn) of Ottawa, ON; daughters, Jean Sherman (Guy), Toronto, ON and Sheila Kelly (Dave), Dartmouth, NS; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Geldart of Salisbury, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brother, Hoyt Collier; a granddaughter, Jennifer Sherman and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Enman. Visiting hours will be held at the Rockland Drive United Baptist Church, McAdam on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scott Kohler officiating. Interment will be later at Rockland Cemetery.
