Blanc Blanc, Joseph August went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 23rd. 2008. Pedeceased by his beloved wife Clara (2006). Loving father of Doug (Vicki) and cherished grandfather of Melissa (Brett) Moore, Matthew and Nadine. Joe was born on January 20th, 1930 to August and Mary Blanc in New Brunswick, As a young boy they moved to Alberta where he began school. A few years later they moved to Lewis Creek BC where he grew up. It was there that Joe met Clara Fischer. After their marriage they moved to Moose Jaw. Joe was employed for 13 years with the Dept. of Highways. He worked there until he bought a gravel truck and started his own trucking business and also started farming in 1970. His passion in life was farming and he continued farming until his health began to fail in 2003. Friends are invited to attend a visitation at Parkview Funeral Home, 474 Hochelaga St. W. Moose Jaw, SK on Friday evening from 7- 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Parkview. Interment will be held at a later date.
