MAISIE A. HUGHES
HUGHES, MAISIE A. Maisie A. Hughes, 73, of Moncton with her loving husband John at her side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday evening, March 18, 2008. Born in Carrolls Crossing, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Parker) Price. Maisie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid bowler and golfer during their winters in Clearwater Florida. She was a member of the Moncton Centennial Lawn Bowling Club, the New Brunswick Lawn Bowling Association and former member of Lakeside Golf & Country Club. Maisie will be sadly missed by her husband of 25 years, John H. Hughes; sons, Peter Robinson, Calgary, Kenneth Robinson (Sheilah), Doaktown; grandchildren, Chris, Michelle, Charlie, Kenny, Kelly; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, Caden; stepchildren, Paul Hughes (Amber), Mahone Bay, NS, Robin Hughes (Stella), Stellarton, NS, Marcia Hughes, Mousquoche, PQ, Heather Soper (Bill), Hubley, NS; three step grandchildren; sister, Dolores Pond (Fred), Moncton; brothers, Hudson Price, Toronto, Hartford Price (Joanne), Eugene Price (Mary Lou), both of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Robinson (1980). No visitation by request. Funeral mass, St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, Tuesday, March 25, 2008, 10:00 am, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the Mass. Interment, Stilesville Cemetery.
