DAVIS, PATRICK ROBERT The passing of Patrick R. Davis of Fredericton NB occurred at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on March 27th, 2008, at the age of 91. Born in St. Jean, Quebec, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary (McGowan) Davis and husband of the late Denise Bertha (Goineau) Davis. Patrick was a labour relations officer for R.C.A.; a mediator for the anti inflation board in Ottawa; and retired from the Department of Labour as a conciliation officer. A member of the Roman Catholic Church and former member of the Fredericton Golf and Curling Club. He is survived by his children, Diane Davis Popowich; husband Peter of Guelph, Ont., Donny R. Davis; wife Patti of Fredericton, Jim Davis; wife Tanya of Fredericton, Linda Davis; husband Kevin Heenan of Halifax, NS; nine grandchildren, Willie (Robyn) Davis, Tara Davis (Jeff), Shana Davis (Brad), Amanda Davis, Jacob Davis, Jessica Davis, Kallen Heenan, Maggie Heenan, and Camron Davis; great-grandaughter Audrey Davis (daughter of Willie and Robyn); brothers, Tommy Davis and Paul Davis; sisters, Tootsie Drapeau and Peggy Choquette; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, May, Sadie, Gladys, Louise, and Helen; brothers, Willie, Johnny, and Bobby. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 30th, 2008 at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service from Holy Family Parish Church, Hanwell Rd. on Monday at 11:00 am with Father Jack Dolan officiating. Interment at a later date.
