ELIZABETH ANNE ALEXANDER

ALEXANDER, ELIZABETH ANNE The death of Elizabeth Anne Alexander, wife of the late Horace Wilson Alexander, occurred on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in 1912 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Neary) Redstone. Anne is survived by sons, Edward (Joan) of Winnipeg, MB and Horace (Darlene) of Bridgewater, NS; daughters, Hazel Alexander of Saint John and Frances Hill (Ken) of Wirral, NB; brothers, John Redstone (Pauline) of Saint John and Samuel Redstone of Fredericton Junction, NB; sisters, Bertha Smith of Beaver Dam, NB, Hazel Reid of Saint John and Rose Pate of Brantford, ON; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Anne was predeceased by daughter, Elizabeth Anne Carver; brothers, Ottie, David, Murray, George, Frederick, William, Alden and Alfred Redstone; and sister, Doris Redstone. Anne was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Saint John and Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Fredericton. Anne was also involved in the Ladies Missionary Societies. She was a member of the Sapphire Rebekah Lodge # 37 I.O.O.F for over 50 years, a Past President of the Rebekah Assembly for the Atlantic Provinces I.O.O.F and a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary Patriarchs Militant I.O.O.F. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. and 2 hours prior to the 2pm Funeral service, which will be held on Wednesday April 2nd, 2008 in the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel". Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to the Gideon Bible Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
