MEYER, DORIS MILLICENT The passing of Doris Millicent Meyer of Fredericton, NB, wife of Lense Meyer, occurred on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 26, 1923 in Hearts Delight, NF, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Miriam (Sooley) Reid. Doris enjoyed spending time playing cards with her friends and loved gardening. Besides her husband, Doris is survived by her sons, Tony Meyer (Valerie) of Rusagonis, NB, Bernard Reid (Hazel) of Hearts Delight, NF , Lennie Meyer of Thunder Bay, ON; grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Susan, Kimberly and Teagan; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Joshua; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her brother, Reg Reid and his wife Jessie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor Brent MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place in Rusagonis Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
