CAIL, BERNICE RUTH The passing of Bernice Ruth Cail of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Wallace Cail, occurred on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born on May 30, 1924 in Lower Woodstock, she was the daughter of the late David and Gertrude (Reddall) Purvis. Bernice was a member of Devon Park Baptist Church. Bernice is survived by two daughters, Patricia Davidson of Fredericton, NB and Noni Barratt (Art) of Oromocto, NB; one son, David Cail of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, James Davidson (Lisa) and Michael Fleming (Monique); great-grandson, Joshua; one sister, Edith Gibson of Woodstock, NB; one brother, Edison Purvis (Jane) of Woodstock, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Bernice was predeceased by her daughter, Lori MacDonald; a sister, Irene Clarke; and two brothers, David Arnold and Frank Purvis. Although there will be no visitation, a Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 3 pm with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating. Interment will take place in Hayes Cemetery, Lower Woodstock at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Parkinson Foundation, Diabetes Association or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
