WEAVER, RETA PAULETTE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reta Paulette Weaver of Daoktown, NB on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in her 63rd year after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of McNamee Pentecostal Assembly. Reta enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and crafts. Reta is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Gerald Weaver; son, Perley (Pamela); daughter, Dawn Weaver; grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer and Johnny; brothers, Carl (Linda) Rushton of Woodstock, NB, Gerald (Roxanne) Rushton of SK, Perry (Sandra) Rushton of Kamsack, SK and Kenneth Rushton of Bathurst, NB; sisters, Alice (Terry) Tracy; Peggy (Barry) Laking both of McAdam, NB; brothers-in-law, Donald (Kerry), Norris, Ivan and Lyman Weaver all of Doaktown, NB; sisters-in-law, Olive (Fraser) O'Donnell of Doaktown, NB, Carol (Willard) Russell of Orangeville, ON; several nieces and nephews. Reta was predeceased by her parents, Irvine and Martha (Munn) Rushton; brother, Steven Rushton; sister-in-law, Marion Harvey. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Funeral Service will take place at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor Cole Price officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Trevennion Storey, Larry O"Donnell, Shane Rushton, Perley Munn Jr., Tony O'Donnell and Evelock Gilks; Honourary Pallbearers are Rose O"Donnell, Linda Price, Eva Ward, Nancy McCarthy and Sandra Washburn. Interment will take place in Doaktown United Baptist Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
