SEYMOUR CLYDE JOHNSON

JOHNSON, SEYMOUR CLYDE The death of Seymour Clyde Johnson occurred at the Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008. Born at Lawrence Station, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Ethyl (Cleghorn ) Johnson and husband of the late Louise (Neales). Seymour's greatest passion was in the growing of Christmas Trees, and his pride in exporting trees to the US to the same buyer for a number of decades. Seymour is survived by one son, Glendon, of Lawrence Station, NB and one daughter, Marilyn (Oliver) Johnson-Grealish of Edmonton, Alberta.; one grandson, Craig of St. Stephen. Five surviving sisters are Pauline Young, D.I., Maxine Sabine (Waldron) of Moores Mills, Joyce MacArthur, Saint John, Jean Patterson (Roy) of Harvey and Wilberta Topple (Eric) of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Seymour was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Stewart and her husband, Clarke of St. Stephen and Evelyn MacKenzie and her husband, John, of St. Martins, NB. and brothers-in-law, Decosta Young, Leonardville, D.I., A. MacArthur (Mac) of Saint John and Floyd Fowler of Fredericton. Resting at S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB where Funeral Service will be held on Friday April 4, 2008 at 3:30 PM. Interment at Brockway Cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 3, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
