Peterson, Erling Erling Peterson passed away on December 25, 2008 at the Union Hospital in Moose Jaw. Erling, at the age of 79 was predeceased by his loving companion of many years, Emma Melander, (2002), and by his infant daughter Erlyn (1968). Loving stepfather of Robert (Roberta) Melander, and Ruth Melander, son in-law of Don Kitlar. Cherished grandfather of Robin Melander, Renee Connor (John) James Maxwell (Lisa), Colin (Kym) Gulevich, Cory Gulevich, Christine and Cheryl Kitlar, Michelle Lechelt (Scott). Will be remembered by his great grandchildren Caitlyn, Dylan, and Nathan Maxwell, Karlee and Logyn Gulevich, and Braden Lechelt. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends, especially his niece Laurie Stanhope. Erling was predeceased by his parents, Herman and Borghilde Peterson, his stepdaughter Catherine Melander (Kitlar), and by his brother Hjalmer Peterson. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parkview Funeral Home, 474 Hochelaga St. West, Moose Jaw. Interment will follow at the Rosedale Cemetery.
