PRICE, GEORGINA OLIVE The passing of Georgina Olive Price, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Earl "Duke" Price, occurred peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 5, 2008. She was born May 2, 1922 in McNamee, NB. Georgina served as a WREN during World War II. Georgina is survived by one son; Wayne (Flo) Johnston of AB; one daughter, Linda Price of ON; one brother, Ernest (Brenda) Miner of NB; eight sisters, Catherine Schaufele of AB, Mae McGilligan, Inez Sutherland (Lloyd), Shirley Mantha, Eileen Storey, Elma Duder (Al), Ruthene Storey (Winston) and Diana Sherwood (Paul); brother-in-law, Robert Stewart, husband of the late Jennie Stewart, all of NB; two grandchildren, Dwayne (Kari) Johnston and Peter Johnston of AB; two great grandchildren, Adrianna and Jake along with numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Besides her husband, Georgina was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Emma (O'Donnell) Miner; one sister, Jennie Stewart; four brothers-in-law, Hayward Storey, Ed Mantha, Thomas McGilligan, Reuben Schaufele; two nephews, Larry Schaufele and Edison Storey; three nieces, Debbie O'Hara, Janet Sherwood and Cheryl Storey and numerous aunts and uncles. As requested there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 7 pm with Archdeacon John T. Sharpe officiating and Deacon Joyce Perry assisting. Interment will take place in the St. James the Greater Anglican Church Cemetery in Ludlow, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to VON, Extra Mural Program, St. James the Greater Anglican Church or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
