L. "ORLO" MYSHRALL

MYSHRALL, L. "ORLO" After a lengthy battle with cancer, the passing of L." Orlo" Myshrall of Kingsley, NB, husband of Shirley (Forget) Myshrall, occurred in the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on April 6, 2008. Born on April 21, 1933 in Millville, NB, he was a son of the late David and Alice (Cookson) Myshrall. Orlo was a truck driver (Owner/ Operator) for most of his life. After moving to Ontario in 1969 he continued driving until 2001 when he and his wife Shirley retired and moved to Kingsley, NB. Orlo enjoyed life and loved to "tinker" in his garage. He was a "Mr. Fix-it" there was no task too big or too small that he didn't accomplish, except his own body when cancer struck. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as hunting, fishing, gardening or going four-wheeling with his buddy and good friend, Randy Colwell. Several times Orlo and Randy discussed the prospects of him getting well enough to go on a trip to Moncton to his favorite store, Princess Auto. In addition to his wife of 35 years, Orlo is survived by seven sons, Al (Val) of Hartland, NB, Orlo Jr. (Bonnie) of Cambridge, ON, David (Jacqueline) of Bracebridge, ON, Jamie (Bev) and Darren (Mary-Jane) both of Woodstock, NB, Evan of Brampton, ON and John (Nancy) of Mississauga, ON; five daughters, Leigh McConnell (Murray) of Birdton, NB, Janice Tisdale (David) of Hartland, NB, Louise Colwell (Randy) of Fredericton, NB, Kathy Tisdale (Tim Brill) of South Hampton, ON and Marilyn McConnell (Justin) of Kingsley, NB; four brothers, Delmont (Brigitte) of Fredericton, NB, Winston (Janet) of Denver, CL, Dennis (Joyce) of Millville, NB and Linwood Myshrall of Maine, USA; two sisters, Gwen Shibles of Maine, USA and Carolyn Colpitts (Darrel) of Peticodiac, NB; 26 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Orlo was predeceased by his first wife, Hazel (Thornton) Campbell and one son, Dwayne Myshrall. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor Allan Myshrall officiating. Interment will take place in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Palliative Care Unit or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
