SANSOM, SHIRLEY JEAN (TRACEY) The passing of Shirley Jean (Tracey) Sansom, of Stanley, NB, wife of Angus Sansom, occurred on April 7, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 5, 1927, in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Eva (Manzer) Tracey. Shirley was a member of Hillcrest United Church, Stanley, NB. Besides her husband; she is survived by two daughters, Beth Godbout (Rino) of Fredericton, NB and Jane Robertson (Allan) of Sherwood Park, AB; one son, Charles Sansom (Cathy) of Onanole, MB; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two sisters, Eileen MacDiarmid of Sarnia, ON and Barbara Fletcher of Fredericton, NB; very dear friend, Doris Sellick of Stanley, NB; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Harold Tracey. Although there will be no visitation, a Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Murray MacFarlane officiating. Interment will take place in Hillcrest United Church Cemetery at a later date.
