LYNCH, ALLAN WILLARD "BILL" The passing of Allan Willard "Bill" Lynch, husband of Eleanor (Folland) Lynch of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 25, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 14, 1932 in Sackville, NB, he was the son of the late Mildred (McClintock) and Oscar Lynch. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. Bill was a member of the Shrine Club, Capital City Rounders, Elm City Square and Round Dance Club and Men's Bridge Club. He enjoyed classical music, crossword puzzles, golf and curling. Bill loved playing with his grandchildren and was a devoted husband and father. Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his son, Allan Lynch (Lia Daborn) of Fredericton; daughters, Suzanne Hawkes (Robin) of Florenceville, Karen Knox (Brad Chapman) and Janet Wilson (Philip) both of Fredericton; grandchildren, Corey, Logan, Brandon, Cydney, Lexie, Tanner, Kali and Cameron; sister, Patricia Lynch of Florida; brother, Michael Lynch (Betty); several aunts, brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Main Street, Fredericton on Tuesday at 11 am with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Shriners Transportation Fund or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
