PHILLIPS, NEIL ROSS The death of Neil Ross Phillips, aged 67 of Swan Creek, NB, occurred unexpectedly on April 27th, 2008. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Ross and Nelda (Allen) Phillips and the husband of Frances (Coy) Phillips. He was employed with the Town of Oromocto for 35 years until his retirement in 2000. Neil enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and building many boats over the years. He also enjoyed his woodlot and his Christmas tree farm. He liked hockey specially the Toronto Maple Leaf's. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Frances (Coy) Phillips; two daughters, Marilyn (Art) Rathburn of Upper Gagetown, NB, Ann Marie (Kim) Cameron of Upper Hampstead, NB; one son, Dwayne (Kyla) Phillips of Swan Creek, NB; six grandchildren, Jill, Magie, Parker, Bryson, Shane and Maria; three sisters, Wanda (Harold) Meade of Swan Creek, NB Linda (Malcolm) Warren of Gagetown, NB and Joan (Donald) Coy of Coytown, NB; and special cousin, Peter (Paulette) Allen of Rusagonis, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins; also his uncle, Kenneth Banks. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home, Tuesday, April 29th, 2008, from 7 to 9 pm. The memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 30th at 2:00 pm. Rev. Valerie Hunt and Rev. Karman Hunt will officiate. Interment will take place in the Pine Grove United Cemetery Burton, NB.
