BROGAN, IONA "MARIE" The death of Marie Brogan occurred on Monday, April 28th, 2008 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born in Lakeville Corner, NB, she was a daughter to the late William and Catherine (Thompson) Beatty and wife to the late Bernard Brogan. Marie is survived by her three children, Karen (Andrew McKee) Barteaux, Linda (Michael) Tonks and Curtis Brogan; grandchildren, David (Kelly) Barteaux, Jennifer (Kevin Curtis) Barteaux, Jonathan (Bridget) Barteaux, Kristen Tonks, and Matthew (Pattie Furlotte) Tonks; six great-grandchildren; brother, Claude Beatty as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marie is predeceased by her parents; her husband Bernard; sisters, Mavis Trenholme, Alice Delong, Violet Hargrove, Nell Kiervan, and brothers, Carl Beatty and Hartley Beatty. There will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held at the McAdams Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating.
