BARNES, ANNIE PRISCILLA The passing of Annie Priscilla Barnes of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, April 28th, 2008. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Annie Barnes. Annie was member of the Fredericton CNIB. She was very active in the local Canadian Council of the Blind for over 50 years and during that time she had served as president. She attended the VON Adult Center and dearly loved the caring nurses and friends she met on a daily basis. Annie regularly attended Christ Church Parish Church since 1939 until her recent illness. She loved her family, many friends and spending time with them brought her great joy. Survived by her brother and sister, Cecil (Donna) of Cambridge Narrows, NB and Helen Barnes of Fredericton, NB. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Charles, Ernest and Kenneth. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church Parish Church on Wednesday, April 30th, at 2:00 pm. Rev. Paul Ranson, Rev. Anthony Kwaw, Venerable John Sharpe and Deacon Joyce Perry officiating.
