SPENCER (LOVELACE), B. ANNA 1918-2008 Hayesville, NB - Fredericton, NB. Our mom, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home, 690 Union Street on April 30, 2008. Mom was an avid reader, bread maker and gardener, who took great joy from her flowers which always flourished under the care of her two green thumbs. With Mom, family came first and she was always there for her sons, daughters and grandchildren. Her door was always open. The first 20 years of her married life, were spent working the family farm in Lincoln, NB and the last 40, at 690, as it was affectionately called by all. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Bob Spencer in 1998. Survived by her six children, Marilyn, Wayne (Laura) and Terry of Fredericton, Cheryl (Gordon) of Riverview, NB, Janice (Walter Langille) of Toronto, ON and Garth of Tantallon, NS; grandchildren, Dean Spencer, Andrew Spencer of Fredericton, Jason and Chris Love of Riverview, Adam Love of Halifax, NS, Louis Hickey of Vancouver, BC; blessed with two great grandchildren, Spencer and Tyler Love of Dieppe, NB; sister, Lottie O'Donnell and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Earl, Nancy, Nelson, Charles, Peter, Christy, Irene, Arthur, Lucy and; special, sister-in-law, Glenna Douglass. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Tanya Wood, Patty and the Extra Mural nursing staff. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Friday, May 2, 2008 from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11 am with Rev. Dr. Beverly Daley officiating. Interment will take place in Boiestown United Church Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Boiestown United Church Cemetery Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
