Lise Pauline West (nee Delorme) of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully with family at her side on December 31, 2008 at the Extendicare Home in Moose Jaw. Lise was born to Leo and Lucia Delorme on the farm near St. Victor on June 23rd, 1945. She resided there until she was 16 when she moved to Moose Jaw. She met Tom at Valleyview and they were married in 1976. She gave birth to a daughter, Sylvianne on April 3, 1978. Her family was her pride and joy so she thrived during family visits and vacations. She loved Bingo and would spend many hours calling Bingo at Extendicare. She liked to say grace at mealtime and helped set up for Sunday services. She loved music and was frequently asked to sing Happy Birthday for the residents. Lise, at the age of 63, is predeceased by her beloved husband Tom (1998), by her parents Leo and Lucia Delorme, her infant brother Camille, 2 sisters, Odette (Fern) Chevrier and Sylvianne (Lionel) Lamontagne and by her brothers-in-law, Robert Cote and Lionel Lamontagne. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sylvianne, 6 brothers Leo-Paul (Darlene), John (Florence), Bernard (Cecile), Daniel (Claire), Andre (Bertha), Guy, her 2 sisters, Fern (Robert) Cote and Colette (Harry) Morgan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be sadly missed by both the residents and staff at Extendicare. A Prayer Service will be held at the Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St. W., Moose Jaw on Tuesday, January 6th at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at The Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St., Moose Jaw, on Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with an interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Church of Our Lady, or to the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated. We, her family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Extendicare for the loving care shown to our sister Lise.
