LAURENDEAU, RUBY PATRICIA The passing of Ruby P. Laurendeau of McAdam formerly of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the age of 78. Born in Fredericton NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Winnifred (Cordery) Davidson and wife of the late Jean-Louis Laurendeau. Ruby was a member of the Church of England. She was formerly employed as a medical secretary with the V.P.H. and retired from the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal. Ruby was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch # 4. Survived by her children, Pierre Laurendeau of Montreal, Que; Paulette Laurendeau (Mark Hobson) of Tofino, BC; special friends, Diane Quigg of Dumfries and David McMath of Fredericton. Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2008 from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am, with the Venerable John Sharpe officiating.
