GAUDET, JOSEPH CYRUS The passing of Joseph Cyrus Gaudet of Fredericton, NB, partner of Stephanie Whitlock occurred on May 6, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 3, 1917 in Kinkora, PEI, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Gaudet. He was a World War II Veteran. Joseph was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #93, Oromocto, NB. He enjoyed Christian music and was very devoted to Stephanie. In addition to Stephanie, Joseph is survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his son, Ron McWhinney; 16 brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service, with a Legion Tribute, will take place at York Funeral Home' s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2 pm with Pastor David Gray officiating. Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
