CORMIER, EMERY JOSEPH The death of Emery Joseph Cormier of Minto, NB occurred Wednesday, May 7th, 2008 at his home. Born in Richibucto Village, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Johnson) Cormier. Survived by a son, Paul Cormier (Dianne) of Quispamsis, NB; daughters, Viola Layton (Gary) of Mirimichi, NB, Annette Legere (Victor) of Moncton, NB, Rose Williams and Eileen Cormier both of Minto, NB; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a sister, Marie Landry of Moncton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Emery was predeceased by his wife, Dalie (Gallant) Cormier in 2006; an infant daughter, Joanne; son in law, Bob Williams; brothers, Albert, Theodore, Richard, Alphonse; two infant brothers, Leo and Leo. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visiting on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. and on Friday 10am to 3pm Funeral Mass will be celebrated 3:00PM, Friday, May 9th, 2008 from Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Minto with Father M. Swift officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bridgit's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB.
