MURRAY, GORDON SCOTT At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, on Sunday, May 18th, 2008, Gordon Scott Murray, passed away at the age of 87. He was the widower of Evelyn (Briggs) Murray. Born in Gaspereau, he was the son of the late Russell and Laura (Lamb) Murray. Survived by daughters, Mildred (Manford) Bishop, Jean (Eddie) Belliveau and Marion, all of Chipman; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; his sisters, Maisie Chase of Chipman and Ida (Waldo) Fairweather of Cumberland Bay; and his fiancee, Aldena Darrah of Chipman. Gordon was also predeceased by his brother, Willard Murray; sister, Muriel Sweeney; and granddaughter, Paula. Resting at Chipman Funeral Home until Wednesday when funeral service will be held from the First Chipman United Baptist Church, Gaspereau, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
