It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dorothy Wells, age 86, on Thursday, January 8, 2009. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Eric, brother Fred Fairman, son-in-law Don Palmer, sister and brother-in-law Alice and Rob Grindley, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Al and Olive Hayes, and brother-in-law Hector Barber. She leaves to mourn daughters, Margaret (Fred) Collins and Daphne Palmer; son Robert (Kathy) Wells; grandchildren: Jamie (Tammy) and Jason (Sherri) Collins, Shea and Cody Wells, and Joseph and Erica Palmer; great-grandchildren Keira and Tegan Collins, and Jaden and Abigail Collins; good friends and family David and Carol Marshall; and sister-in-law Ruby Barber; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom served in WWII and she said she was everybody\'s friend because she was the \"payroll clerk\". She was a life long member of the Rebekah Lodge No.4. At Dorothy\'s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation will take place with memorialization to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in the spring. Memorials to the Sask.
