CLYDE WILSON

WILSON, CLYDE Clyde Wilson of Burtts Corner, NB, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, suddenly early Monday morning, May 26th, 2008. He was born in Burtts Corner on June 30th, 1924. Clyde is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Pauline; four sisters, Lois, Iona, Joan, and Rosaline; one brother, Basil; daughter, Ruth (Donald) Measor; sons, Thomas, Timothy (Joyce), and Joel (Trina). His nine loving grandchildren are, Billy, Wendy, Andrew, Nicole, Melissa, Amanda, Christine, Jeremy and Kristy. He has 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mildred (West); and his brother, Lawrence. Clyde served his Saviour notably as an elder of McLeod Hill Assembly of Christians. Many have been encouraged in their faith by his love and extensive knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. He will be greatly missed by his family. Visitation will be at York Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 7:00pm. His funeral will be on Wednesday at 2:00pm in the afternoon at McLeod Hill Assembly of Christians, 171 McLeod Hill Road, Fredericton. Wade LeBlanc will officiate. Pallbearers will be Steve Blackmore, Stan Heidman, Dennis LeBlanc, Gui Richard, Roger Cote and Stephen Tranquilla. Interment will follow directly after the service at the Burtts Corner Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrance can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
