JUKES, HORACE WIMBUSH The death of Horace Wimbush Jukes of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, May 29th, 2008. Born in Edmundston, NB, he was the son of the late Leonard and Nancy (Mills) Jukes. Horace was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He enjoyed bowling and especially spending time with his family. He was retired from working many years as a porter in the Operating Room at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He will be sadly missed by two daughters, Susan Smith of Edmonton, AB and Tammey Szabo and her husband Sandor of Kawartha Lakes, ON ; grandson, Peter Milley (Leah); sisters-in-law, Lydia and Betty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Mary Todd and Margaret Brennan; three brothers, Alfred, Clifford, and Leonard (Ned) Jukes. The family will receive visitors at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB on Monday June 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will take place at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 at 2:00 PM with The. Rev. Anthony Kwaw officiating, assisted by The Rev. Joyce Perry. Interment will take place in the St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Nashawaaksis. For those who wish memorial tributes in Horace's memory may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the New Brunswick Association for Community Living. www.mcadamsfh.com
