BREWER, ARTHUR C. The passing of Arthur C. Brewer, of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Mary Brewer, occurred on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 1, 1916 in Upper Keswick, NB, he was a son of the late Herman and Etta (Estey) Brewer. Arthur owned and operated Brewer's Welding Service in Fredericton for over 25 years. He was formerly affiliated with both Nashwaaksis Baptist Church and Kingsley Baptist Church. Arthur is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Roy) Wilson of Fredericton, NB, Joanne (Calvin) Woodward of Virginia and Owen (Beth) of Sudbury, ON; grandchildren, Vicki (Neil) Sandwith, Michael (Joanne) Wilson, Andrew (Lisa) Wilson all of Fredericton, NB, Angela Brewer of Montreal, PQ, Katie Brewer of Sudbury, ON, Andrew Brewer of St. Catherine's, ON, Robin, Rachel and Alice Woodward all of Virginia, Janelle Young and Heather Buchannan both of Alberta; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Janice Hawkins of Fredericton, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Arthur was predeceased by two children, Scott and Marilyn; three brothers, Lorne, Winston and Dellas Brewer; one sister, Audrey. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Kevin Culberson officiating. Interment will take place in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery, Kingsley, NB.
