BLUNSTON, BARBARA EVELYN Barbara Evelyn Blunston passed away at the York Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, June 5th 2008 at the age of 82. Born in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Grace (Meahan) and Alfred Lapointe. She was affiliated with the Wesleyan Church. Barbara is survived by a son, Jack (Peggy) Blunston; one brother, Bill Lapointe; several grand children and great grand children; cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Charles Blunston; adoptive parents, Eddie and Celia Lapointe; two daughters, Jean Ellen and Sharon Margaret; three sons, Richard, Robert and Donald; two sisters, Joyce Lapointe Roy and Opel Lapointe Duncan. Cremation will take place at Barbara's request. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev Pete Thomas officiating. Internment will be at the Penniac United cemetery following the service. Reception to follow at the Penniac Recreational Center.
