BUDD, JESSIE SCOTT The passing of Jessie Scott Budd of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late William Budd, occurred on June 5, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 25, 1940 in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, she was the daughter of the late John and Phillis (Hudson) Peart. Jessie was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB. She enjoyed her many friends she would meet with at Tim Hortons in Nashwaaksis. Jessie is survived by her daughter, Karen (Paul) MacRae of Umiujaq, PQ; son, Stephen Budd of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Phillis (George) Farrell of Fredericton, NB, Jane Clark of Woodstock, NB and Astrid (William) Acott of Spearville, NB; brother, Bruce (Jeanette) Peart of Rossburn, MN; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 2-4 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 9, 2008 from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church at 2 pm with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Sheldon Acott, Stephen Sharpe, Brent Leighton, Steven Murchison, Charlie Ridley and Albert Toft. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances made to the St. John the Evangelist Church Building Fund or the Canadian Deaf Blind Rubella Association would be appreciated by the family.
