ELIZA ISABEL JOHNSTONE (HAMILTON)
JOHNSTONE (HAMILTON), ELIZA ISABEL The passing of Eliza Isabel (Hamilton) Johnstone, wife of the late Wallace Johnstone, of Fredericton, occurred on June 12, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born on March 24, 1918 in Halcomb, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Addavilla (Tozer) Hamilton. She was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. Eliza is survived by three daughters, Shirlee Home, Linda Harvey (Bryce) and "Ann" Addavilla Coles (Don) all of Fredericton; four grandchildren, Kevin Home (Elaine), Cliff Harvey, Mike Coles (Heather) and Shelley (Leverne) Donahue; four great grandchildren, Tylor and Bradley Home and Zakery and Noah Donahue; two sisters, Katie Bryenton of Cassilis and Elva Matthews of Miramichi; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Gordon and William Hamilton. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery.
