PANGBURN, BEATRICE "BEA" L. On Sunday, June 15, 2008, Beatrice "Bea" Louise Pangburn completed her earthly journey and was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior for all eternity. She was 95. Bea was a resident of Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton. Born December 7, 1912 in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Munroe) Ripley. Formerly of Cumberland Bay, NB, Bea was a retired Practical Nurse and for many years she was a mail carrier in the Cumberland Bay area. She loved life and she will be remembered for her quick wit and her tremendous sense of humor. Bea was highly respected and loved by everyone and she will be dearly missed. She made many lasting friendships while attending Sunset Church in Fredericton where she enjoyed getting together with the Sunset Seniors Group. She loved the Word of God and read it faithfully every day. She was a gifted organist as well as an avid quilter and knitter. Surviving Bea are her two sons, Rev. Lloyd Pangburn and his wife Shyanne of Davidson Lake and Launie Pangburn of Blackville; grandsons Allen Pangburn and wife Molly of Rhode Island and Trevor Pangburn of Campbellton; great grandchildren Levi and Margot; a brother Harold Ripley of Simcoe, Ont. and a sister Gertrude Trifts of Petitcodiac; nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband James Allen Pangburn, daughter Ruth "Ruthie" Pangburn and her sister Muriel Dykeman all predeceased her. Visitation for Bea will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Tuesday, June 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A celebration of Bea's life will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating followed by interment in the Cumberland Bay United Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Donnie Small, Basil Jeffrey, Harold Dykeman, Neil Orchard, Doug Barton and Charlie Meade. A reception will be held at the Cumberland Bay Senior Citizen's Hall immediately following the graveside committal service.
