FOX, NORMA SHIRLEY The passing of Norma Shirley Fox (Anderson), wife of the late Neal Fox, of Fredericton occurred on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Caverhill, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Olive (Barton) Anderson. Norma was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church, member of the UCW, volunteer at York Manor and the last founding member of the Mick Mack Trailer Club. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, quilting, crocheting, cooking, bowling and square dancing. Norma is survived by one son, Dean (Sheila) Fox of Douglas; one daughter, Heather Wilson of Fredericton; three grandchildren, Corey (Heidi) and Christopher Wilson and Kate-Lynn Fox; three brothers, Ross Anderson (Barb) of Fredericton, Darrell Anderson (Rebecca) of St. John's, NF and Gordon Anderson (Gail) of Harvey Station; one great-grandson, Aidan; aunt, Edie (Doug) Howland of Fredericton; uncle Clarence Barton of Mactaquac; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm from the Nashwaaksis United Church with Rev. George Feenstra officiating. Pallbearers will be Corey Wilson, Jamie Anderson, Andy Fox, Dana Fox, Garnet Fox and Olan Fox. Interment will be held in the Douglas Rural Cemetery.
