Cameron Cameron Grant Moore
Passed on: January 13th, 2009
Moore, Cameron Grant. Cameron Grant Moore passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday January 13th after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Cam was predeceased by his grandparents Harold and Gwen Wiggins. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Sandy, his two children Chelsea (Michael) and Brady, his mother Marian, his sister Carol, his brother Lyle and many other relatives. He adored his wife and children. If you had asked him he would have told that his greatest accomplishment in life was his family. Cam had a passion for music in the form of singing and playing the guitar. He was very involved with the worship team and choir at the Moose Jaw Alliance Church. Above all, Cam's family and friends will sorely miss his zest for life and his contagious sense of humor. He was always in the mood to have fun, joke around, and make others laugh. In spite of living in Saskatchewan for over 28 years, his support of the Calgary Stampeders never faltered. Cameron gave 28 years of service working for the Moose Jaw City Police before retiring in April 2008 to pursue a second career with the Saskatchewan Information and Privacy Commissioner in Regina. A service to celebrate Cam's life will be held at the Moose Jaw Alliance Church on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Keith Gonyou will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in his honor to the Canadian Cancer Society, Saskatchewan Division. 1910 MacIntyre St., Regina SK. S4P 2R3.
