DELONG, MARIE ELLA The death of Marie Ella DeLong of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, June 29th, 2008. Born in Harvey, NB, she was the daughter of the late Eben and Ella (Thompson) Rosborough and the wife of Stanley DeLong. Survived by her husband, Stanley; their children, Donna Whitlock (Allan) of Fredericton, Donald (Sandra) of Fredericton, Walter (Cathy) of Chatham, Judy MacIntosh (Jim) of Quispamsis, Clifton (Mary) of Fredericton, Margaret Peterson (special friend, D.J.) of Chatham, Ralph of Fredericton, Stanley and Jerry of Fredericton; 23 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; as well as her brother, Allen Rosborough of Fredericton. She is predeceased by her daughter, Pauline and brother, Norman Rosborough. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1st, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, July 1st, 2008 at 2:00 pm. Rev. George Clark will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dale Whitlock, Cody Whitlock, Jeremy DeLong, Lloyd DeLong, Freddy Peterson and Thomas MacIntosh. Interment will follow in the Sunny Bank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be given to a local family who has two autistic sons and a 9 year old daughter who is undergoing surgery for a rare cancer at the IWK.
