PRICE, HERBERT "HERBIE" The passing of Herbert Donald Ross "Herbie" Price of Fredericton, NB, husband of Erma C. (Miller) Price, occurred on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 9, 1938 in Gagetown, NB, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Helen (Morehouse) Price. He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church where he was a vestry member. Herbie along with his son, Ronnie was the owner operator of Herb Price Masonry. He belonged to the Elm Tree Square Dancers and a former member of the Fredericton Snowmobile Club. In addition to his wife, Herbie is survived by his daughters, Connie Ballard (Ron) and Donna Price both of Fredericton, NB; son, Ronnie Price (Susan) of Hanwell, NB; grandchildren, T.C. and Christina Ballard, Nicholas and Trevor Price; sisters, Eileen Sinnett of BC, Marion Brown of Tillsonburg, ON, Betty Goodine (Eugene) of Lincoln, NB and Audrey Patterson (Mike) of Grafton, NB; brothers, Roger Price of Glassville, NB and George Price (Judy) of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Marie Price of Hanwell, NB; brother-in-law, Everett Miller (Shirley) of Dumfries, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Herbie is predeceased by his infant twin sons, Gary and Larry; brother, Allan Price; brothers-in-law, Ronald Brown and Lawrence Sinnett. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church (Main Street) on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 2 pm with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment will take place at the church cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall. For those who wish, remembrance made to the New Church Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
