MOORE, RAYMOND CHARLES The death of Raymond C. Moore occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, July 20th, 2008 at the age of 73. Born in Rusagonis, NB he was the son of the late Philip and Elizabeth (Smith) Moore and husband of the late Betty (Carr) Moore. Raymond loved Rusagonis and spent most of his life there. He worked in many capacities through the years such as working in lumber mills until he took a job with NB Power where he remained for several years. Later, and until his retirement, Raymond worked at the Oromocto Public Hospital in Housekeeping. Raymond enjoyed his family immensely, especially his nieces and nephews who always lovingly called him "Uncle Hoss." He is survived by his siblings, Jacqueline McLaughlin of French Lake, Gilbert Moore (Barbara) of Rusagonis, Eva Warman (Roy) of Nevers Road, Patricia Dee of Rusagonis, Carl Moore of Rusagonis and Sharon Stennick (David) of French Lake. He will also be sadly missed by his several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends and family are welcome to gather and share memories on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 at 264 Rusagonis Road, Rusagonis, NB from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Raymond's honor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
